Good news, it is definitely just a weird translation and not something inherently bad/weird

its similar but the translation really took their liberties with it

its also not a cut off scentence in the orginal

People also saying this isnt a big deal but this is the third tiem the author has writen in something like this. it doesnt go anywhere cause luckily the older character never reciprocates but its still really weird to do

if it is what people are assuming it is, hopfully it is either
1 - mistaken as a diffrent type
2 - someone her age
3 - could be a diffrent word entirely
