My job title has been officially changed from flight control operator to flight control meteorologist.
My job duties don’t change, this just better reflects my contributions at Windborne Systems. I’m excited to be in a place where my expertise is valued!

I forgot that sausage is spicy by default in California.
There are not nearly enough public EV chargers in the Bay Area.

I’m on my way to the Bay Area today and on Wednesday I start my new job operating weather balloons around the globe at Windborne Systems!
I’m excited to be working to improve upper level data! I did some work with balloons in college and it was honestly my favorite part of my college experience.

Tonight we enjoyed chili on cornbread waffles. This stroke of genius came a few days ago when we were having waffles and the idea of cornbread waffles was mentioned. It exceeded expectations, which were already high.
Yeah man loving my $4 to drive 300 km instead of $20 in my old car or $40 in my in-laws car.

We got a good deal on a Kia EV6
We have purchased an EV and will acquire it on Monday. I’m pretty excited, this is our first EV. I would rather not have a car but my new job’s location and hours are not in line with public transit options in that area.
Today we pack the moving truck. Tomorrow we drive to my in-laws in Oregon. We’ll spend a few weeks there before moving on to our new abode.
A map of North America showing states and provinces that I have geocached in. Three have 500 or more finds, Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia.
🗺️ Last weekend I reached 3000 total #geocache finds and today I made my 500th find in British Columbia!
