‘Frankenstein’ Review : Guillermo del Toro’s Tragic, Yearning Vision of Horror - Wonder Watchlist Del Toro’s long-awaited adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is a tender, terrifying exploration of creation, loneliness, and love.

Since seeing the film last week I haven’t gotten it out of my head. The costumes, the performances, the yearning, it’s all so beautiful. Thank you @realgdt.bsky.social for your film!

FRANKENSTEIN is morbidly sensual. Gorgeous & grotesque. Elordi perfectly captures the “WHO AM I? WHAT AM I? WHY ME?” of the story. His eyes are piercing with tender vulnerability & seething rage. Guillermo del Toro has captivated me once again with dissecting life & death.

Holy shit I’m so sick of this incessant need from content creators, companies, and brands to push AI down our throats.

So happy to be back doing interviews 🥹 I thought after being ghosted by my last outlet I wouldn’t get the opportunity again. Not only have I done a few this year, but my sites first interview went live today!

OBEX is unlike anything I’ve ever watched before. It feels haunted in its visuals. Albert Birney uses video games and a love of old-school technology as a connection to exploring loneliness. Dug the fantasy elements of this the most, a beautifully strange fairy tale of a film. #filmsky

Exactly! Unfortunately so many are out there doing it for all the wrong reasons.. and people who have a genuine love for it get overshadowed.
