Gleaner reports:
'There is also a @cityoffredericton account on Bluesky with no posts so far. McLellan said that “at this time, the city is exploring the opportunities Bluesky could provide.”'
Maybe if we all followed @cityoffredericton.bsky.social the city would start using it.
You should give tutorials on how to do that. I avoid Meta platforms, but I talk to so many people that complain about the algorithm and just want to see stuff from friends.
They also need platform that is not controlled by Meta! BlueSky is my choice, but there are others.
Sorry, but Swiss Chalet has better ribs than Montana's, and not as over-priced (but I'd rather go to Snooty Fox)
Lego mini-figure with camera
In the interest of privacy I won’t name names. I was the photographer

Good day for a smile! Here's a project almost 43 years in the making! Thank-you #Lego for giving me the opportunity to build a piece of my history—the landing of the #NASA space shuttle Enterprise at the Ottawa airport in June 1983. @legogroup.bsky.social
❤️ to the snow shovelling elves of #SkylineAcres! I went out to clear the morning accumulation and found my driveway and those of several neighbours completely clear!
Happy New Year indeed!
Thank-you!

We bring you Christmas greetings through this short video message.
Hear words of hope, good news for this season, & two beautiful anthems shared by our choir Sunday past.
It's an invitation to believe anew, & know Jesus, wherever you may find yourself this Christmas.

While limited, there are other songs to choose from. I can manage 96.5 a few hours longer ...until one of the dreaded songs comes up.
Its like listening to Oldies stations where you hear the same song come up daily—there are millions of songs they could be choosing from!
Perfectly demonstrates why I can't listen to 106.9 for more than an hour at a time. The first time "Last Christmas" or "All I Want for Christmas is You" comes on I can't flip the dial fast enough!

Sam Sneads is very good—special occasion pricey though. Do they still do their Tuesday special?
Fun Fact: Basketball was invented by a Presbyterian ministry candidate who graduated from the Presbyterian College in Montreal. (Thanks @cdnhistoryehx.bsky.social for the inspiration.)
