My opinion on the card is based on how badly I got blown out by it recently so I'm anti-Orthanc right now thanks to Emrakul.

If your card requires a flow chart to be understood...
Got to draft Lorwyn Eclipsed last night and was finally convinced that Ashling deserves a spot in Options Cube. Starting a turn with the decision point of flipping the card was a real highlight.
The most humbling thing about STS2 is that my win rate goes up if I use the boss reward that plays my cards from left to right
All I'd want to add to this is a Doppelgang. Love me some recursive nonsense.

Happy Slay the Spire 2 release day to those who celebrate this sacred holiday ✨️
Would your audience care about cube? It can scratch the same itch sometimes.

Howdy, gamers. 👋
Emma here, and I'm here to bring you some exciting news about CubeCon 2026! There's a lot to go through today, so let's dive in! 👀

@magicstorytime.bsky.social I've been jamming a Thunderous Wrath list for years at this point and was wondering if you've ever come across it. I saw someone else discussing it on a discord and immediately put it together. What do you think?

Mine is basically a cat elevator during the workday.
What style did you go for? It was the big thing I splurged on when I got a wfh job.
A picture of snow on a sidewalk, with large individual flakes shining on the ground.
We had some of the most beautiful snow I've ever seen this week. Not only were the flakes perfectly formed, they were large enough to sparkle on the ground, maybe 1/8" tall.
Watching what looked like glitter rain from the sky was wonderful.
Belated post but I got to chaos draft with my friends back home this weekend! In a 7-pod I ended up in Rakdos Sacrifice through a pair of first picks from MOM and EOE. Next up for us, a weekend of cardboard next time I'm home. (Name redacted to protect the innocent: me)
Apparently all the humor of “I’ll have what she’s having” is lost at the pharmacy. Smh.
We baked some pies for Thanksgiving:
A standard apple pie (my second ever!)
A chocolate crust pecan pie
Cannot wait to dig into these tomorrow
That's what I did the first time, and this time I just cut loose. I did end up drafting a lot of my cards but that's what I was hoping to play, oh well!
I was more unhinged in my last inclusion, hope you have a blast!
Different strokes
I do my best to be both of 'em.
This time around I wanted to play with the no-cost suspend cards like Ancestral Vision or Restore Balance, and I drafted a lot of mine to create this UG ramp-cheat deck.
An absolute blast, and a great way to celebrate a friend's birthday!
If you've got a draft crew looking for a really fun afternoon, consider a fruitcake draft! (Also called stone soup elsewhere)
Everyone brings 45 cards and 5 of each land sleeved up in a unique color with whatever rules for the 45 you want, then it's shuffled up and drafted.
A few of the recent iterations have made midrange appear to an extent, but they're not premier archetypes. GB garbo used to be a winrate death knell, now it's an actual thing to draft.
I do agree the samey-ness of vintage cubes can be a drawback, especially when it comes to WX aggro.
A crowd of 400 cubers cubing.
Last week, we gathered, and together we created the largest Cube event of the year.
Why did we do that? (🧵) #mtgcube #CubeCon2025

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've yet to flip my own Grist, still hunting the elusive Magma Opus -> Arcane Bombardment.
I got welded hard the last time I drafted Chicago too. It's the boogeyman for sure.
Was the rw deck a welder deck?
