Despite being a serious lifelong condition, Sickle Cell disease is still not legally recognised as a disability.

I've tabled this EDM, calling on the government to recognise it as such and secure the workplace rights of Sickle Cell warriors 👇🏾

And it means we never have a meaningful public discussion about just how bad things actually are for disabled people and what can be done to make sure disabled people have a good quality of life, because we’re always forced to defend what little support we do have.

I pretty much agree with Mous' sentiments about how we were after the match. Pretty decent first half but we just don't seem to be able to capitalise when we're on top of things playing away.

Last Friday, Labour leaked their disability cuts plans to ITV leading to panic, despair, hopelessness and a noticeable spike in suicidal ideation in disabled communities.

Rachel Reeves wouldn’t have noticed this though as she was enjoying a free box at a Sabrina Carpenter gig.

Certainly seems to be the intention reading things doesn't it? I expect because they believe the general public will be more accepting of it as people seem to be so much less tolerant to "non-visible" disability
