I believe it would be beneficial to American if we were to take away the lifetime healthcare and pensions for elected representatives and made them find healthcare and benefits just like their constituents
We have created lifetime of benefits for a job that was not meant to be a career

One of the things I love most about NYC, and something I cherish, is walking, biking and taking the subway. It’s actually superior to being in a car whenever you have the choice.

Her friend would probably not wear cutting edge fashion, though she probably wears custom clothes. The reference is right for Taylor's general audience, both women's reference with each other/their ages, and for the situation/Bozeman. She's talking about ready to wear not high fashion. Cheers.

I just bought a gorgeous Donna Karan bag and dress in Macy’s in NYC, I live here. It’s a DK renaissance and I am here for it.

Sorry. I loved it! But never occurred to me to be ‘surprised’ that someone didn’t love it or by the reception it received.

So very much about that, so much love for our home and our star Sol.

“Yo Adrian!” Was big thing in the late 70s. :) But for me, I think it was because Rocky the alien was named that because he looked like rock. And so my brain didn’t make the Rocky/Adrian film connection. I felt pretty sheepish when I finally made the connection lol.

Me and my brother (I was a young teen) were bigger fans of Rocky than any of the adults we knew. And still I read and listened to the book and saw the movie three times. It was after the 2nd watch that I finally connected Rocky and Adrian names!

Rocky premiered in 76. There were sequels later. Many people born from the 1967 (59) into the early 70s do know Rocky. And Stallone was a star in the 80s as well. The idea that most of GenX doesn’t know Rocky is preposterous. My brother was born in 69 and big fan. It’s really an individual thing.

If you have the opportunity to see Project Hail Mary in IMAX, do it! It was still wonderful in Dolby Cinema and XPlus but IMAX was extraordinary.

Just because a President announces he’s agreed to a two week ceasefire moments before he threatened to commit war crimes, does not mean he is suddenly fit to serve. #25thAmendment

Project Hail Mary, my whole month has been gloriously Rocky-centered.

It wasn't until PHM that I realized how many of his movies I like. I knew I liked them but I never thought, "he's my favorite current movie star", but he is, I realized he is. He snuck up on me. There is a warmth about him. And yes there is a Harrison Ford thing now. :)

Yeah, same in all counts.

It wasn’t perfect communication, which was and is part of the charm. They are also in space not on Earth time, and quite honestly I saw the movie with non-book readers who all just assumed that it took more time than they could show reasonably in the movie.

We’ve seen #ProjectHailMary three times. Dolby, XPlus, IMax. Theater packed each time (it’s crossed 300 million globally). I’m an old, I did not and do not ‘drool’. The theaters were silent but for laughter & tears. No phones open. Not your cup of tea? Fine. But this ‘take’ is gross & dismissive.

In fairness, media is presenting this as “it’s doing well, let’s have another Rocky adventure!!!” but Andy Weir has spoken before the movie about there being more story and writing another volume, but more about what was happening/happened on earth while the Hail Mary was in space.

So, it’s #LetterboxdFriday and I *would* post my #LastFourWatched but my last three watched are all the same! #ProjectHailMary three times (Dolby, IMAX, XPlus) plus a rewatch of the wonderful Cactus Flower.

Do I love Rocky Grace Save Stars, question? Yes, I do, statement. Amaze.
