What I love about #gamedev is the "Dumbass factor". Pic 1 is what it should look like, the second is what I've got. Solution is simple but I forgot to implement it in the first place. Btw the game is abt dungeons and playing with single key. #godotengine #spotlight #indidev
Hey there! Lame Jam 58 results are here. Overall 23rd out of 52 entries.

Noice, but perspective are a little wrong - don't worry, that happens to me often, keep on doing your stuff, it's cool as hell
I don't see any feathers, mate! Petruccio would be sad :(
Meet Shieldy(Todd for friends)! The swamp creature who collects shields and wears them

Every time I implement any new stuff in my games I test them with Button node( #Godot ), whether it comes to spawning, changing colors or even just text. Dunno, it's my personal Hello, world

Looks totally outstanding, good job! I'm looking to create something similar when it'll come for my next project
Literally me when I have to work instead of #gamedev. But anyways I'm making some ideas for the future projects - like a game played with only Ctrl (some like out of CONTROL(sry, lame)). What do you think? Should I take a try on this mechanic?

Lol same thing about comments everytime
Your art is great, I love combining low-res and little palettes(2 bits mostly) but unfortunately I'm not that good at it(
Lol happens literally every time
"Nah I'll fix it later"
Prob you won't. At last it'll take you million hours
The best way to do it is note exactly everything that are wrong, but here's another problem - "nah I'll note it later"
In conclusion, the worst and hardest bug in any game is the developer
I'm pretty hyped about Duet Game Jam(not just because it's my own child) so I hope you'd like it as well

Hey there! Well, guess I'm back. It was hell of a half a year - I dropped my game, wanted to start something else, left this dream, took them back and even took part in the first Game Jam! Speaking of which, you can check it out

Harrier du Bois himself?
Lately I started to feel myself more and more sad because I don't always have enough time to #gamedev
So here's my shoutout to everyone who feels the same: you rock! You can do this, you'll need more time, yeah, but you'll succeed eventually, don't let these thoughts get you🍻
My peak #gamedev experience was yesterday when my gf was ranting about the dream game she wanted and I was like "I can do it, tell me more about it"
Actually it's funny how I'm thinking about a lot of another projects but still haven't done the first one 🍻

And also you can find some type of a group of people where you can show off your progress to each other every week, for example. I think anything - even a new pixel or uncompleted function matters - every masterpiece wasn't built in one day, after all
I'm sure you'll find the best for yourself

I guess it's like a hitchhiking - you're dev, you're driver and the subs are the hitchhikers - the move with you, but you're deciding on the course(ofc if you're not aiming on full monetization). So first of all choose the most suitable course for you, not the others

For me it's more like "I did a little but important step so I need to share it"
No running for the views, just sharing. Making it not the main goal but a good addition to your adventure
Hope you get it, good luck
Finally started to make my game look cooler
What I've done:
-Added some sprites and tiles, as you can see
-Started transition from button controls to keyboard/gamepad usage
What's remarkable:
Apparantly my character doesn't need y-sorting(idk how)
Cya!🍻

Every indie dev has a moment where they say ‘I’ll just make something simple’ and then accidentally design an entire lore books.

Your tiles are cool af
Keep on doing your game, it's gorgeous
Рисовка отпад, сам люблю пиксель арт
And sometimes it's nothing for a weeks, it's just sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not
