I’ve decided to be a rebel and make Stephen West’s Achievement Badge Shawl in worsted. And I am loving it!! It’s going to be HUGE and I can’t wait! #knitsky #knittting

I don’t need to bind off. Can just slip to waste yarn then carry on. It’s a shawl so I’m not super concerned about gauge

I’m doing what the pattern indicates to do but I dunno. I may block this and see if it relaxes

Dad perking up on antibiotics. Toured personal care homes for hospice today. Hard stuff. Binding off current project. Went yarn shopping. Worsted Color Affection with these. Not sure how to make it deeper and not 1/4 mile wide with this bigger yarn. #knitsky #knitting

Totally understand that. I feel like this piece is going to mean so much to me.

I am two rows away from starting the bind off of this beauty. This is the project I started when I flew down to get dad into the hospital and he’s declined ever since. This morning we changed his code instructions to DNR and I’m very emotional as I near the end of the knitting. #knitsky #knitting
