There are many more beyond even them. There’s actually a potential one to the immediate west of the Thornborough three.
I’m not saying they were cosmically aligned. But it’s a hell of a coincidence.

Go on Google Maps, use the measuring tool. Draw a line though the northern henges entrance, through the southern henge - then all the way to the Devil’s Arrows (arbitrary I know).
This passes directly through Nunwick Henge’s causeways.

If you think it's a coincidence that Cana Barn, Hutton Moor, the Thornborough Henges, and Nunwick are all placed on that alignment by chance... well, I don't know. But I'd say it's pretty obvious.
That map is 100% accurate. The line passes through all those henges, in that exact alignment, all the way to the Devil's Arrows. It's not exact, obviously.
They're aligned to the lay of the land, but people were clearly doing these things southeast / northwest down the Vale.
Boroughbridge up to Nosterfield for the main part of it yes. It’s where the River Ure meets the Swale.
I know that map can look cooky. But in this case, you can literally draw a line through their causeways, directly through one another to the Devil's Arrows.
A blatant long-distance alignment of ceremonial enclosures.
There's also a potential suerhenge just north of the Devil's Arrows. 🏺
The Vale of Mowbray is the most insane prehistoric site in the British Isles. In my opinion 🤔
An 11-mile chain of at least eight southeast / northwest aligned henges (among the largest in Britain), terminating at Britain's 2nd tallest standing stones... 😩

It’s a real baby and bathwater situation, as I and many others found the other articles very interesting.
If so, good. Far too big a claim to be throwing around willy nilly.

Some people just like the acclaim. And the news will take literally anything you give them.
Archaeology is an easy pull.
Nobody in the know believes it. The LDNP archaeo visited the site with him and told him it’s very unlikely.
Yet, he’s on the news stating that it’s 100% real.
I was the one who found the LiDAR feature. So, if anything, it’s my discovery haha
I won’t be having misinformation spread on my turf…

Pure speculation to be honest! But, carvings like this are found in Neolithic contexts - stone circles, tombs eyc.
I should really have said Neolithic/Bronze Age.
