Oh yeah, I’m usually out there w/my canon 5D mark 3 and 50mm 1.2, with a cheap, amazon purchased, 10x magnifying filter (eventually, life will be normal again, and I’ll buy a 100mm macro lens and all will be right with the world😉), casually strolling through bees and birds and butterflies. 😊

That’s interesting! I have the reverse experience; butterflies are MUCH harder to capture than bees for me. Go figure.

I can’t believe it… I think I fixed it!!! (BY PURE, DUMB LUCK👀)

It seems that the site that hosts my page (squarespace) saved *some pics, so now I’m rebuilding and consolidating. Trying to link homepage to individual galleries again is proving to be a pain… but I’m working at it…

I had my computer worked on recently, and the guy was like “you need to get rid of a lot of these photos- they’re taking up a lot of space,” so I was like- “yeah no worries, they’re on my website, so I have ‘em. You can delete them from my hard drive…”

I just decided to edit my website- add & delete some photos. These photos have been collected over the past decade, some of/most of them never to be recreated. I clicked on one I wanted gone- pressed “delete”…. Deleted the entire gallery section. Can’t bring ‘em back. No longer on my computer. Gone.

They’ve got Birdie Bedhead! 😆

I see now that the path I choose through the maze makes me what I am. I am not only a thing, but also a way of being—one of many ways—and knowing the paths I have followed and the ones left to take will help me understand what I am becoming.
