I Gave Claude Code 9.5 Years of Health Data to Help Manage my Thyroid Disease A case study in personal machine learning, agentic coding, and why the future of health management might be personalized ML

Incredible use case, really feels like LLMs and research agents were the missing link for unlocking all this personal health data. Also a good reminder to keep wearing my fitbit.

Nobody Knows How To Build With AI Yet The future of software development might just be jazz. Everyone improvising. Nobody following the sheet music.

Interesting post and I particularly like the idea of the 4 files to steer the coding agent.

Why Facts Don’t Change Minds in the Culture Wars—Structure Does Why do facts bounce off some people? It’s not about logic; it’s about structure. Your worldview isn’t a list of opinions—it's a living network. And right now, it's at war.

I learned to
- create a VHD from Disk Mgmt 😮
- build a container from a csproj 😎
- switch Docker to containerd 🆗
- build a WASI container! 🤯

Thanks @scott.hanselman.com! 👏

Relume — Websites designed & built faster with AI | AI website builder Use AI as your design ally, not as a replacement. Effortlessly generate sitemaps and wireframes for marketing websites in minutes with Relume’s AI website builder.

🚀 Overall, this workflow works very well to quickly build landing pages and static websites.

Relume.io AI features efficiently generate a site skeleton, while the components allows fast assembling of pages. Once understood, the separate style guide made it easy to have a consistent page design.

Free Components | Webflow Library Sign up to our Free plan to access these free Webflow components.

In the last step, I manually built the Webflow page by using the Relume components via copy&paste from relume.io/free-compone....

That was pretty easy after designing everything in Figma using the same components.

Unfortunately, the free version only supports a small subset of components.

As the next step, I adapted the global color variables to match my custom color palette, defined using the excellent uicolors.app tool.

The Client-First style guide distinguishes between primary colors (the palette) and semantic colors (what they are used for):

That worked surprisingly well!

Once satisfied, you can let it auto-generate wireframes for the various pages. Using the free version, I could only generate the main page:

I'll get straight to the point.

We trained 2 new models. Like BERT, but modern. ModernBERT.

Not some hypey GenAI thing, but a proper workhorse model, for retrieval, classification, etc. Real practical stuff.

It's much faster, more accurate, longer context, and more useful. 🧵
