You have such a beautiful mind... It is really true on how interesting the sheer act of adaptation can be. Part of why I enjoy Stampede/Stargaze, bc they did some interesting (and drastic) changes to the canvas of Trigun.

It is a really different pace from action adventure manga and while I fuck w how fast everything happens in Trimax bc it contributes to this sense of doom and urgency... Buuuuut.... Can't they like, go eat together uuuuu

Yeag like. I would really enjoy some interactions between the gang before or after dragon's nest arc for example. I wish you could beam the adaptation from your brain directly into my neocortex. I wish to perceive the high quality blorbos...

Honestly, personally I'm at peace with no "faithful" Trimax adaptation. I'm not really enjoying watching anime that much, especially longer titles, manga is the perfect medium for me. Plus, people reacting to unavoidable tweaks as the story changes mediums is gonna be... interesting gfggfg

Yeah like Im gonna be deadass. Trimax reread was the point at which I started consciously developing my art style. What really freed me was use of harsh b/w contrast and distinct shapes, even if it doesn't necessarily look realistic.

Meeee 🤝 I've reread Trimax recently during a very sobering bad time when I dealt with a lot of grief, and well well well... I had my brain matter rearranged completely during vol10.

Also a funny thing about 98 is that i wouldn't say Vash is significantly sillier in it... I would say that he is consistent with the Vash we see in two volumes of Trigun 95 manga. Which means he's like... Really edgy, if I had to describe it in 3 words or less.

I got an impression for many people in English speaking fandom 98 is THE trigun experience, and nostalgia colors it heavily. I enjoy it ok, but heavily prefer Trimax as well. It might be more somber, but I like somber. And I have unlimited fillers in my head to spice it up.
