That’s a good point. Nothing really replaces the first few pages for getting a feel for the writing. I agree, it makes sense to use the space, so A+ can work as a visual hook to get readers to that first page. Appreciate you sharing your perspective.

Not in my WIP, but about my WIP. I completed eight chapters and let it sit for many months. Try as I might to milk my brain about the contents, I failed. Now, I'll have to get comfortable and read the chapters and the outline before I can continue the story.

The newsletter is a good start. BookFunnel promos to build your list. Facebook reader groups are good if you're there because you want to share your love of books. Just don't make the mistake of self-promo unless it is scheduled. With real interactions, readers in the group will discover your work.

When I worked night shift, I probably read three or four books per week. One night, I started Bloodline by Sidney Sheldon. I didn't go to bed after work. I had to finish the book. Now, all I remember is the title and missed sleep. I'll have to read it again to see what kept me reading.

This is a good read. Since it's been years since I read it, I plan to read the book again before picking up book two. Enjoy!
