A triceratops-like winged creature with three-clawed paws descending from a rocky outcrop, with a silvery glint on its head, radiant electrically charged orb in its back, similarly glowing narrow eyes and sparks of electricity here and there around it. The dark clouds above are illuminated by an intense lightning storm

Screenshot from Mastodon, white text on black background: Erik Uden @ErikUden@mastodon.de Once libraries are nonexistent any modern fascist movement wouldn't even have to burn books, but flick one switch and they'd be remotely deleted from your Amazon Kindle or similar digital "library". Capitalists are already building the infrastructure to do this through DRM, so stop believing tech is apolitical - the defunding of libraries and paywalling of information are all part of this.
A reminder during #NationalLibraryWeek, libraries are our best and last defense against the fascist monopoly on knowledge and information
I learned recently that it’s an insult in Germany to call someone “hobbyless” or to engage in “hobbyless behavior” and it’s become my favorite way to think of assholes who have nothing better to do than to make other people miserable. Get a hobby. Build a model train and calm down.

Did you know, the Atlas moth, the largest insect living in Hong Kong, in Cantonese (蛇頭蛾) translates as "snakehead butterfly", given its characteristic cobra-like eyespot & batesian mimicry. It looks very dissapointed.
The currently escalating tech backlash must be put in the context of:
“people have been listening to the most insufferable techbros in the world gleefully threaten everyone else with mass unemployment for over 6 years, and they’re sick of their shit”

A starry sky is seen above two tree-covered mountains that slope up on both sides of the image. In the central valley the head of a comet is seen, with a long tail flowing nearly vertically upward toward the top of the tall frame. Please see the explanation for more detailed information.

Good morning Bluesky.
Say hello to our resident Orca, in front of the Seattle waterfront during a gorgeous PNW sunset. He was traveling with his family and T034s, T037/T037Bs. Those little ones in the pods are always the most playful ones. We love our whales. This photo should be a poster!

Having just got back from shoot, I can catch up on life a bit - starting with the confirmation that I will be vending at #DinoConUK!
Drop by my stall to pick up prints, posters, (possibly) 3D prints of my sculpts, and custom sketches - or just to say hi!
Here’s the atmosphere of our indie game in just two screenshots

Star Trek The Original Series scene. We're in a CORRIDOR! A room door is open, and we see two crewmen spilling out into the hallway in red and blue uniforms. They are otherwise indecipherable tho because they are entirely enveloped in a big cloud of smoke. It's pouring out all around them and into the hallway area, like there's a Phish concert in there. Closed caption reads, "[COUGHING]"

This is Tetiana, On April 16, she was killed in a russian missile strike on Kyiv 💔🕯
She was a videographer, baked Easter cakes to order, and dedicated herself to saving stray cats.
BBC made a broadcast on restitution of colonial cultural heritage by France, and for some reason invited russian "expert" who said that Europe "unlawfully detained ru cultral heritage".
Why invite anyone from russia to talk on restitution if it loots & destroys Ukrainian heritage right now?
