This isn't a snap decision. It’s been an 18 month struggle against what Unite UCU describe as "union busting" and "unlawful treatment" from within the movement.
This week, staff at @uniteucu.bsky.social and @uniteitf.bsky.social have announced results of industrial action ballots.
Why? Because their employers—who are trade unions themselves—are accused of targeting reps for doing their jobs: raising H&S concerns and protecting colleagues.
