This begs the question:

Will Hytale still support modding in the traditional sense? With both the built-in menus, the #flecs ECS, creator tools, and luau scripting - it is likely that no C++ will be necessary to make comprehensive Hytale mods.

More discussion is needed on this topic 🤔

...However, for those willing to dabble, Hytale opens the doors to luau, a relatively simple language that is much less daunting than C++, (the language Hytale is built in).

It seems that Hytale is gearing up to provide a top-tier modding environment for new and inexperienced creators!

...While officially created for their own tech designers, menus like this would make modding accessible to everyone.

If this approach is extended to much of the game (as seems to be the case) coding skills will NOT be necessary to make substantial changes to the game. 🤯

I don't believe the freakiest/scariest thing I've seen has been shared yet...it was a silhouette in the background maybe once. 2nd scariest was the playtest bear I tried to pet. Glad the respawn was close and my gear replaceable.
