I originally tried to learn Rust and #bevy back when bevy just started releasing version, and I struggled to learn both a new language and the ecs pattern. After spending a lot of time with #flecs in C++, I feel really comfortable with ecs gamedev. going back to bevy and focusing on the language
This begs the question:
Will Hytale still support modding in the traditional sense? With both the built-in menus, the #flecs ECS, creator tools, and luau scripting - it is likely that no C++ will be necessary to make comprehensive Hytale mods.
