The drive from Oatman to Cool Springs was definitely worth unhooking the trailer for.
Beautiful desert landscapes, a very friendly cat, and lots of history on this part of Route 66.

The Silverado EV did it all on power from my RV park space.

And so what if it leads to automation? We should support people and improve their lives because they're people, not because they can toil needlessly.

The whole conservative paradigm devalues people to labor. It devalues relationships to sex. It can't even tolerate Jesus's teachings FFS.

The key to improving cities isn't taking things away from people. That causes political blowback & so-called leaders like Donald Trump.

Instead, add value! Improve cars. Add bike infrastructure. Make transit affordable and convenient.

When every option is good, people will choose the best one.

You're not gonna talk Americans out of the utility of a four door pickup truck. It can carry the family, large items, and tow things, all on one payment and insurance premium.

Instead of scolding people, we should make trucks safer. Electric drivetrains, regenerative braking, sensors, and cameras.

If you ever go through #Oatman #Arizona on #Route66, be sure to take it easy. Donkeys are all along the road, and they'll approach you for food. The road is also known as the #Sidewinder for good reason!

I dropped my trailer at an RV park before driving it.

Main Street in Oatman, Arizona is full of people and donkeys all day. But, they empty out right at 5 o'clock.

I haven't had any problems other than needing to unhook at one charger.

We started our all-electric #Route66 journey in Amboy, California. The plan? Continue all the way to Chicago to see the full route from California to Illinois. More photos and short videos (plus some articles) coming as I get time to work on them. #EV #RoadTrip

Charging an electric truck with a trailer attached. The station wasn't made for trailers, but by pulling the plug into an adjacent parking lot, it was possible to charge without unhooking.

Lots more photos and some videos coming soon! I just didn't get much time to edit and write during the first few days of this trip.

On our second night, we stopped at Saddle Mountain, a BLM camping area west of Phoenix. Lots of nice scenery, rockhounding for fire agate, and a dark place to sleep at night. From here, we continued to Joshua Tree National Park and on to Amboy, California to start our trip on #Route66

I'd have to know a lot more about the amounts that are a problem and how far the matter (is it particulate?) travels to offer an opinion on this.

It might require anything from relocating a few roads to working with tire manufacturers to change compositions.

Traditionally masculine jobs are easier to automate. Nobody cares whether a man or a machine performs hidden or emotionally void tasks.

Jobs where people find deep meaning in human connection are difficult or even impossible to automate.

Don't hustle. Find something you're passionate about and chase it to the ends of the earth (or beyond).

It's expensive, but it's worth it. Full charging speed and no need to unhook.

They're built by EVgo and GM using Delta chargers. They built hundreds at Pilot and Flying J truck stops.

Yes, but I towed a lot of uphill at almost 100°F and that may have left the pack a little hot for fast charging.

First time charging at a @rivianofficial.bsky.social station. Got the full advertised peak speed, but had to shut the AC off to get it.
