Needless to say that I am halfway done with overhauling the whole onboarding anyway. Stay tuned for being warmly welcomed to the game instead of dropped into the main menu like a seagull falling out of the sky.
Tiny emergency update to Sparrow Warfare since I learned that there's a bug with our Tutorial button (i.e. it did not lead to the tutorial) for new players. Now the tutorial button, at last, leads new players to the tutorial.
I got around to playing this last week. It's fun! There are plenty of interesting choices and I like the feedback loop of defeated enemies becoming friends. Figuring out when to push forward and how to time the use of friends as wildcards to fix your hand was key for me. Demo recommended!
The newest patch to the demo adds a run history to the game so you can look at your past successes and failures. Also new: the game sums up all attacks of your opponents for you. And of course new animations, bug fixes, and we've fixed the sound mixing: store.steampowered.com/news/app/347...

I'm on record as a NEON AURELIUS super fan but Sparrow Warfare is so good man. The deck(tile) building energy with out the unbearable vibe of other games. Just rescuing cool birds and attempting to pop off with daft combos.
