Moseo was the brain child of Laurel Pratt the support Narrative Designer for #MTGStrixhaven.

When we were brainstorming new deans she suggested “what if someone excised all their flesh to stop phyresis”. And from there she created one of my favorite characters in the set.

Game design made the mechanics on these cards parallels of each other, and we took it as an opportunity to tell a small two card story of rivals to... I mean I like to think they are dating now :D
