For birders joining BlueSky, Jamie's post has some useful links to help you connect to the #UKBirding feed and a starter pack for UK birders.
In our own starter pack (top of profile) you'll find Berkshire and national birding and conservation accounts and a few other birders with active accounts.

The obvious answer is: everything you currently put on X. Why not do that already? Not saying it shouldn't still go on X - that's up to you - but there is an urgent need to build presence on a platform that isn't politically controlled.

And some red squirrels would also be nice!

Yes, the number of followers here is still much smaller than on other platforms, but it's important to start building up now to have a resilient means of communication, as X and Facebook are increasingly under political influence.
