Every year there's a horror that comes out that people give more shit than it deserves. Sinners was OK, folks. IMO the ending wasn't that bad, but I agree, the post credits stuff was a bit of a mixed signal and a bit goofy. 🤷 But whatever... It's streaming now, so... 🤷

Going to try to write some point this week now that I can move. Struggling mentally to get back into the things that I enjoyed. There's been no spark lately, just frustration. Have only had the attn span for OW2, (🥴) but it's better than laying in bed staring at the wall. Womp womp.

Haven't been writing or watching movies this past week because I was busy experiencing probably the worst pain IML. 💀💀💀 ER trip today solved (hopefully) the issue, but it's bed rest for the next few days since I got medical things hanging out me now. 😭 TBH, coping w/ alotta green + Divorce Court.

Oh, no. Vacay from book writing is over, so now it's back to the depressing grind of work vs finding the time to cater to my wants and needs while fighting off the lil screamin' demon in the back of my mind shouting, "just lie down here and become an immoveable force."

Probably the most dogshit port I've ever played. We had to swap from Homecoming to The Room because the controller mapping is ✨W I L D✨. It says press button 3 in a boss fight when it means 1, swings your hit everywhere but where you're aiming, and dodges you into punches. RIP gamer sanity.

Finally got access to it. Didn't want to watch it with commercials on Tubi. 💀

Yes! I've been writing about SFX artists and their work on my page lately. Resisting writing on people who are blatantly obvious like Bottin or Savini, but it's a task to avoid them because they're absolutely magic when they start doing their thing. Bottin, especially, on The Thing and The Fog.

My favorite psychological horror is tied between The Evil Dead, In the Mouth of Madness, and The Thing. The mind games in all three of them, especially seeing as the antagonist wins, always delivers 😘👌🏻 Three chefs kiss kinda movies, IMO. Outside being well written, they're also shot well!

Midsommar is a stellar flick! I don't think I've ever seen the latter, so of course I'll be checking that one out soon! Thanks for the unintentional rec! 😅✨👌🏻
