An adult male Allen’s hummingbird is perched on a small branch of an olive tree. The bird has an iridescent green back and an iridescent reddish brown throat patch of feathers.

I think this counts as a technicolor coat 🤩

Mr Allen’s hummingbird is hanging out in a nearby olive tree in between trips to the sugar bar.

The Bay of Fundy's tides are particularly drastic, so when you visit the Rocks, go twice--once at high tide, and again at low tide to walk around on the ocean floor.

(I missed out on my Eastern Canada road trip, but I'll be back one day...)
