A discussion about the adaptability of humans (called hito in this setting). The cat Tonelico wonders why human evolution would make them so omnivorous. Drill, the monkey, points out that it's this exact flexibility that allows humans to survive everywhere and travel far and wide, disrupting the local ecosystems of wherever they end up.

A different conversation between Tonelico and a different beast person, a doctor who notes how humans creep her out. In her own words "This isn't about it appearing violent or carrying pathogens. But rather, about it's unusual fragility and level of cleanliness. That is a creature that can only be healthy in an environment that excludes all other species."

Brand new manga on Jump+, Hitoner by Tomohiro Yagi. Not only another new furry centric manga (about a planet of anthros who get a human as an alien visitor) but also one that's already saying some neat things about how twisted 'dominant species of an entire planet' actually is as a concept
