It's 10 years today since Prince died.
So a reminder of this, that happened on the other place, because sometimes sadness can still bring laughter.
Grey moth with wavy lined pattern, resting on green gate post. He got Sam Eagle eyes.
Gently pursued this beautiful moth around a gate post. A species of geometric moth, my app says Seraphim, and that he has “a penchant for discretion”. His eyes remind me of Sam Eagle.
learning that Peter Capaldi and Lewis Capaldi are cousins: delight and surprise
finding out they are second cousins: the dark confusion descends
All of these #poetry prompts have been outstanding. Keeping them in my #writing pocket for when I have more time and headspace for them, b/c right now I am not in that place. Thank you @moistpoetryjournal.bsky.social 🙏

Graffiti on a bench in town: “use morey for cures not chaos”.
Some wise graffiti on a bench in town. Though I did first read it as “use money for cakes not chaos” which I found equally wise tbh

Any English bluebell experts out there? #WildflowerID #WildflowerHour #pink!
Common carder bee on English bluebells.
Common carder bee visiting bluebells. Not to spoil the beauty of this but I saw this bee do a bee wee. #WildflowerHour
Pale droopy and some petals gone, cuckoo flowers by a river, long grass.
Cuckoo flowers by the river, a bit past their best but the #CabbageFamily had not disowned them. #WildflowerHour
Pink English bluebells or possibly hybrid.
Today I spotted these pink bluebells amongst their blue friends. They are definitely not Spanish bluebells. Leaves seemed narrow but think pollen possibly yellow rather than white. Hybrid or rarity?! #WildflowerHour
Pink common vetch wildflower against wire diamond trellis fence. Fields beyond.
I saw my first common vetch of the year in flower, standing very tall against this fence.#WildflowerHour
