Also if possible, where were the post 2008 records?
Video of sea buckthorn swaying in the wind to song of a nightingale at Birkdale on Fri. A rare bird in Lancs, all records (6) bar 1 up until 2008 were from the Sefton Coast. I have no info since 2008, can anybody fill in the gap for me? How many have been accepted in Lancs since 2008? #LancsBirding

Nice one, I almost don't check blue rings anymore, all bar one at Pennington Flash were ringed at the flash & all recoveries are from the flash. The only exception was a blue ringed bird ringed at the flash which travelled to Poland for one summer.
I've had a great birding holiday to Cyprus so far with many highlights and still a week to go. This Namaqua dove 200m down the road from my apartment in Mandria today will take some beating though @birdsaroundcy.bsky.social

I agree, but personally I'm happy to miss out if it means I'm not subject to the toxicity of X. My X account is long deleted. So far so good with bluesky for me, all I see is stuff I'm interested in.
Very distant barnacle geese on Crossens marsh, Southport.
Nice one ๐ I called in at Crossens early pm yesterday hoping to see the Todd's but no joy. I did however count 75+ barnacles. Amazing numbers about this year, great to see.
