Free pass
I am unable to go to Manchester this weekend for #scbwi so have a full pass to give away free.
I had signed up for the Ed Vere workshop as well as a writing one.
Follow and reply if you would like it. I'll pick randomly this evening.
Please share with #kidlituk peeps.
This is amazing! My health is too bad to let me go this year, otherwise I'd be throwing my name in the hat! π
Hey, thanks Matt! Been a busy few weeks with health stuff, but I'm trying to be around more π
Good evening fellow Horror writers! My name is Megan and I write middle grade horror often tempered with a light-hearted humour. I'm using NaNoWriMo time this year to focus on editing the two projects I already have on the go!

Thanks! Just hoping it doesn't need too many edits, and hoping they approve the illustrations. Less than 6 months til it's out!
I'm settling in a little more, but I want to find more book and writerly folk! Where are you all?

Thank you! π
I finished writing my novella! Just have the illustrations to do now.
I'm tired today, but yesterday I did good writing. I finished another two chapters of my #teen novel and I still love the story, characters, general vibe... I'm happy!
#WritingCommunity - how is your work going? Enjoying your current projects? Tell me about them!

That story sounds adorable! I love witchy vibes with animals.
A very good morning, all! I'm still only semi-remembering to check this place, but it's better than never at all.
I'm writing my romcom horror today, researching GCSE maths while I do so, because that's what my MC is learning.
Tell me about your writing research!

Welcome! Great to have you over here.
How did the hair appointment and editing go?
Absolutely! It's seeming easier to network here, which I love. I'm a big networking fan.
Huge loss! But hey, we've all done other things when we should be writing, right? That's what makes us writers!
I never learned Pyhthon; I'm more web based languages - CSS, JavaScript, php, SQL, and I learned the tiniest bit of C+ as well but I reckon that's close enough to the others for me to figure out if I ever needed to again. How come you never did it? Didn't get round to it?
It's very weird, indeed!
Good morning, good morning! I'm still figuring out how this works (taking ages, I know - can you believe I used to work in coding?) but I'm here and I'm trying!
I'm writing today, working on my YA horror novella. What are you up to?

Introduce yourself with 3 bullet points:
β Author (horror) and editor (most genres) of middle grade and YA fiction
β Big fan of autumn; leggings and a cosy jumper is my aesthetic
β Cat-mum to two British Shorthairs called Sid and Jas
<Taps mic> Hello Bluesky! Just going to do my 'hello' post. I'm Claire a writer of kids and adult nonfiction books so I am here for all book stuff. I am also studying for a PhD in the folklore of death in 19th century England so folklore, Victorians and death also my bag. Plus dogs, always dogs.
Thank you! I'm actually between websites right now, but you can see my DA page and message me on Twitter (same name as here) if you'd like to.

I love a bit of a toony look!
I'm still figuring the place out, but I'm sure once I get the hang of it, it'll feel a bit better. Thank you!
To any kidlit people still on xTwitter who have invite codes to spare: there are kidlit creators & one school librarian still seeking codes who would appreciate your help! I've asked people to post updates if they're still looking: twitter.com/inkyelbows/s... (Thanks!)
I'm a UK gal, and read and write children's horror! What are you working on?
It still feels a little strange here; not quite cosy yet. I'm sure I'll settle in. How long did it take the rest of you to start feeling homey here?
Oh wow, that looks so helpful! Thank you for sharing!
Hello #WritingCommunity π I've snuck over from TwitX and looking to follow writers & authors, illustrators, editors, book bloggers, and generally bookish people! Where's my crowd at?
