A rather unexpected addition to the the local 2026 10km list today in the form of a Red crested Pochard! A female on a woodland pond near Pensford. Locally I have only seen this species at CVL. Woodcock was also added. Total now stands at 67.

3 new life birds in 2024. Yellow Warbler, Scarlet Tanager & Pale legged Leaf Warbler. Not as many as in 2023 but that was a bumper year nowadays. Quality over quantity.
