I got jump-started awake this morning by an overhead airplane. everything I hated about Grapevine has followed me here. -_- the area voted against paying for the airport because we didn't want it, we have two commercial airports in the area already. ...but they found a way to steamroll it through ><

when we were planning where to move to long-term, Grapevine was off the list. it's next to DFW airport. too noisy.
we settled in a suburb north of Dallas.
...and then they just opened McKinney airport for commercial travel.

I was devastated when my mp3 player died. of course I have it all on my phone now, and it doesn't matter. I need some task distinction between devices. I never play music on my phone. for the times I've tried, I'm usually doing something else on my phone at the same time, and it overheats.

I'd call the effort of keeping in the know with language instead of ignoring it for the rigidity and simplicity of proper rules the opposite of lazy.

I never understood why that was a thing, that will only make the other person more hurt, more upset, feel less safe.

I no longer see one-and-done actions like this as a solution, we need to keep the heat up longer.
