If our countries grow a backbone and fulfil their obligations, they’ll impose sanctions, arms embargoes, boycotts, suspend trade agreements, and seek justice. Their weak statements of condemnation have never worked. We need action.

It’s the same playbook deployed over and over again. It’s past time to impose sanctions & arms embargoes!

I’m sick of selective feminism. Too many only stand in solidarity based on who the aggressor is. Standing with women means their right to live free of genocide, of oppression, of violence. Everywhere. All the time.

And that’s just the pre-requirement. She must be a feminist, anti-genocide, anti-imperialism and willing to go against superpowers to change the UN and the world.
