Oh no! What's wrong? do you need a new tire mounted on that rim? I work at a motorcycle shop in Lorton, but I've got a tire machine and can do that for free. Dm me if I can help
A large multi-story parking garage ramp has the exterior faces of its lower rungs painted with murals. In front of the garage is a gas station, and in the foreground is a USPS letterbox
Trichrome Tuesday:
Love the art on this parking garage ramp in Lancaster, Pa. I also think the Harris shutter silhouette of a person crossing the street looks good, along with the deep blues.

A Volvo car dealership in York, Pennsylvania. One wagon is surrounded by a sea of crossovers
Is this foreshadowing anything?
I simply couldn't say.

Oooof I've made that drive on a motorcycle and it feels eternal. Welcome to the infinite radial plane of Wisconsin
A former powerplant for a factory turned into a multi-use neighborhood recreation & dining space along the "canal-walk" in downtown Richmond, Va. A bridge across the canal is faintly visable in the foreground. Slide was home developed in HC-110 & RA4 developer
Slide Film Sunday:
Richmond at sunset.
I really enjoy walking around downtown Richmond. Though its transit options aren't as robust as other East Coast cities, it's a charming place I always enjoy visiting.

A stripped down Honda Motorcycle rests on a beach. Front tire and carburetors removed, water almost certainly in the engine while one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, the Oahu coastline, in the background frames the shot.
Thank you guys for producing BW! It's been an island of thoughtful intellectual stimulation for me. The show's given me a useful framework to mull over issues important to me.
Another thing I haven't been able to get out of my mind since listening. This picture screams: Listen to Bloodwork.
These are really neat! They remind me of an urbex channel I really like: Broken Window Theory's Italian roadtrip series where they visit several decommissioned industrial sites
Oh I do, and the C30s not the only one with junk in the trunk :p
Don't threaten me with a good time π€£ lol jk
I mean what's all that trunk space for anyway?
America's most scenic city
Yeah, If I can find one near me I'd absolutely love that!
A bookstore in Lancaster, Pa with the sign for a gas station in the foreground. A "One Way" sign is visable in the foreground as well
In my monochrome era, and I'm really enjoying it!
I feel very fortunate that when I started this hobby and dove headfirst into color film some of my friends gently suggested I give B&W a try.

Dang, I think the joker economist in question needs a cartoon to understand he is, in fact, an asshole.
Someone raises a legitimate criticism of economics and your first response is to attack their identity. We must ask ourselves: Is That Good?
A red, green, and blue lens filter for doing trichrome color photography with B&W film.
Trichroming accessories.
Posting just for funzies
Was very nervous I'd drop these!
The Occoquan Harbor taken with a Blue 47 filter as part of a trichrome
This is the blue filtered photo, for reference. I do like how clear the shoreline in the distance is
The boarkwalk/ public pier in Occoquan, Va. Looking out towards where the river gets larger and heads towards the Potomac. Several kayaks are stacked up in the foreground, and a couple powerboats are visable in the background.
Trichrome Tuesday:
From my trip to Occoquan last week. It was nice to be down by the water, for the first time this season, wishing I could hop in a kayak.

I use a CanoScan LiDE 600F flatbed scanner which I believe uses RGB lights to backlight so I get interesting results with everything. But with Phoenix in particular I usually see red haze in the shaddows and sometimes yellow highlights
It looks really good, I love Phoenix. How did you digitize it, flatbed scan or DSLR?
I like the brightness level, a little moody but still tons of detail
Beautiful! The FP4 seems to really like Caffenol!
A Honda CRV with clear tail lights and side graphics is parked in front of a church in downtown Lancaster, Pa. In the foreground are two signs that say "stop" and "one way." Electrical & communications lines criss-cross the top of the frame
Happy Monochrome Monday:
Helen looked really good in this photo. Though it has many miles and a different engine than the one it started with, the happy CR-V successfully did two mid-sized road trips this Spring.

A mural painted on the side of an office building, it looks like a carport underneath the drawing and a road in the foreground
Slide Film Sunday:
Another from the Phoenix II inversion series. We went to Falls Church to see a Volvo and stopped by a local restaurant after, across the street was this neat art on the side of a building so I had to try and capture it at ISO 25

Yeah! Lemme know if you go up there and I'll swing down. We can shoot some photos together
A bridge carrying a major highway, 123, over the Occoquan river. The turret of a large mall style building is visable in the righthand corner
A sailboat is peeched precariously close to some power lines. The river gets much smaller from here becoming impassable by boat due to all the rocks
A museum of the history of Occoquan, the river, the town and its dam. Lights encircle its roof
I took a trip to Occoquan, Va after work Tuesday. Though traffic was miserable on the way there, the sunset roll of B&W made up for it.
24 exposures is perfect for shooting a roll in one setting. I also shot trichromes

The Rosslyn Virgina skyline as seen from across the Potomac river in Georgetown's waterfront park.
Rosslyn, Virginia doesn't get a lot of love from locals but I enjoy its skyline a lot. It has also changed quite a bit over the decade.

That's so clear! Beautiful, did you do a high aperture shot indoors freehand?
Thank you!
A trichromatic color photo of the main square in downtown Lancaster, Pa. The building in the background is now a fancy hotel/ restaurant. A couple was walking through the square while I shot the green frame so their silhouette appears in green in the lower lefthand corner, along with some Harris Shutter effect car silhouettes
Trichrome Tuesday:
Downtown #lancasterpa. Though not the most colorful, this is one of my favorite trichromes so far.
I could have aligned the layers better, but I don't have the energy for that this week.

A row of bikeshare bikes secured in a dock. The closest bike is an ebike with an electric motor to assist the rider up hills and to cruise faster. Behind the bikes is a market building and several shopps & restaurants
Monochrome Monday:
The weekend before last Aaron & I visited Lancaster, Pa and the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum.
We enjoyed strolling through downtown. I love that they have a bikeshare system.
