Little Portrait Study from a few weeks ago! ✨️ #illustration

Landscape format in acrylics on canvas panel. A flat road bridge, mostly a painterly yellow, runs horizontally across middle of painting with its four visible arches and their blue shadow underparts above the river which is red with separate individual horizontal strokes of lilac for rippling highlights. Behind bridge left of centre is cathedral, pink with dark blue roof and square ochre steeple. Short dark red strokes are on the water reflecting the steeple. Other buildings are at left and right edges, in simple block shapes of orange and red with blue roofs and impressions of windows. Have another old #painting. "Ballina I", was so called because I went on to paint more paintings of the County Mayo town. I get to visit the place every year so have a replenishing stock of experiences from which I can make new paintings. And it's good to look into the Moy. #art #SpeirGhorm #ArtYear
