Des Moines crowd begins to grow as locals protest ICE detaining Dr Ian Roberts.

I'm more curious about where his due process is. But honestly, as a DMPS parent who has personally met with Dr Roberts and heard him speak about our kids many times I know him to be a wise and caring leader for our school district. I trust him way more than I trust ICE.

Dr Roberts is currently held in Pottawatamie County (around 2 hrs from DSM). Des Moines Refugees and BGSD are organizing the protest at the Federal Building, then at 6pm at Corinthian Baptist in Des Moines State Rep Rob Johnson will have an attorney present to talk about next steps.

#PTFCOriginStory is from the field side. I'm running down the field and I see Timber Jim on the sideline running with a running chainsaw above his head. I was shocked and awed. The Army chanted "Blue Bastard" at me after I called a PK against them to tie the game in the 85th. Respect.

I walked in and was shocked to hear @timbersarmy.org singing long before the game and decided to abandon my ref wife ticket and go stand w them. They adopted me, and I had a blast w them. Went to the Cheerful Bullpen postgame. The rest is history. Now I celebrate 2 anniversaries on 5/28!
