Thanks for coming so far lol. Yeah they're going a good direction I guess. But I can only say as an user of the program and the past experiences I had in that server where only one or two people were nice with me. I don't want to go back there even for support lmao
That is a bit ironic since the program is supposed to be developed by the community itself. Because. Open source y'know
I also know there's tools to create dictionaries for OU but I'm not sure in any way if that is related to the phonemizers :'(
They're pointing at a good direction but I feel some stuff is only included when any dev wants to, instead of actually listening to the community. I can't be too sure of that, the only times they attended me on client support was when I was rude or very insistent :(
• I love it because it makes some languages and covers easier
• But I also feel it has too much "bloatware" in the sense that many things I feel should be optional
• Mod+ my beloved
• I'm glad with each update they rely less in shortcuts and more in icons/menus/YOUR MOUSE
• It's nice to have this many tracks
• Everytime they make a good update I cheer loudly
• I worry that the program will break ten thousand times more
• If it's called OpenUTAU... Why do you even have the option to add Diffsingers?? Shouldn't you do a different program for that??
+the following:
• Excessive phonemizers that should be optional to download
• Bad translation system that you can't see exactly where the original phrase is used
• Did they do something to how the envelopes work???
• I really shouldn't be needing to use it on an external drive for it to work
And I really don't want to go through the "user manual questionnaire" for another 2-3 years just to get the bug fixed

Also about this, I'm afraid to have to get inside the OU server to fix a bug in which PC build does not read hiragana (and completely corrupts the files!!), but same build in external SSD does read it. Because I genuinely don't know if they became any helpful over GitHub in this time
Maybe I will ramble a bit more about how I feel about OU, this thread is too long already
... As well I've heard there's a new OU fork that is not Cadlaxa, Lunai or Emerald and I want to try it out!! I wonder if you can make custom themes too... Though except for Cadlaxa, all forks of OU I've seen are specific for X project/user's UTAUs 🤔
I've also noticed a rise in people using my OU themes & downloading Heccan [Libra] and AC's [roulette] [mirrorShard] voicebanks :0 + the Chance Reclist!!
