Can you get one of those cake in a mug mixes to keep it easy?
I listened to that book a couple yrs ago. The first person I saw after it, I tried connecting with wanting to talk about the relief of having others share hard things, was a church lady who accused me of not believing in Jesus bc of it.🤦♀️

Right. My brain is too tired to remember what the right words are for this thing, but I can walk to varying degrees at home but also need a wheelchair (always when away from home for safety, but also sometimes at home). Depending on my functioning, what my walking looks like can be very different.
If they were intellectually honest they would be thrilled that this genuinely and helpfully reduces our medical costs AND saves lives.
Instead they just want sick people to die so they can pocket the difference.
Had an odd thought while reading this one. All of this bluster that he's currently flailing about with that used to work but isn't anymore? It's like he has this idea that if he just positive thinks it hard enough, his will will just manifest out of thin air if he bullies hard enough.
I keep craving peanut butter toast these past few weeks. I'm thinking it's bc the b complex is up in the air with stopping from gi pain, waiting, finishing, and then waiting again before starting trial type 3. So much peanut butter cravings...
Maybe it was resin? I couldn't say. It was so long ago and I read so much and pulled so many random things from the school book shelves, there's no way I could tell you know. It's just that one memory and question that's always stuck in my head.
I've topped 35K photos and 100+ files and folders on my phone. I'll never catch up on the organizing. I know the internet is vast, but if it fails, I figure I'll be one of a million mini archives of the era. But there's so much, when I'm most tired, I still let things go by without saving.
I'm gonna have to start a "not all men" folder in my screenshots organizing file system, aren't I?
Fred from Scooby-Doo unmasking the bad guy at the end of a mystery, in two frames. First frame: Left side: a tied up man in a white featureless mask with eye holes. The caption over him in impact font reads, "SOMETHING I USED TO LOVE SUCKS NOW" Right side of frame, Fred has his hand on the mask, about to pull it off. The caption on him reads, "LET'S SEE WHO'S BEHIND THIS." Second frame: The unmasked bad guy has a pencil thin curling mustache, a pointy nose, and dark hair, with a widow's peak. The caption on him reads, "PRIVATE EQUITY"

We don't really see it as trying to earn or claim a label bc it's a label. It's just a self understanding thing. I spent years thinking knowing if or how I was ace didn't mean anything to me, either. Until it suddenly did. Not saying as any pressure. Just for for thought. (autistic)
Not judging at all. As long as the potato salad doesn't have any raw onions, I'll eat all of them for you (assuming the tuna has been properly halved with essentially tartar sauce).
My grandpa loved orange jello with carrot shreds & canned pineapple. 🤮
Really want extra cheesy noodles right now. But WAY too crashed to safely make anything.
Somebody bring me Mac & cheese, please?
That's from whales, right? No, it wasn't a similar sounding name. It was used in a riddle in a... my brain is struggling, can't remember... adventure type? Thriller? Mystery? book. The girl was trying to figure it out on a bus, knew it bc she had a necklace. I knew it bc Jurassic Park.
They're unintentionally training us out of the social media addictions.
Kinda sick of the policing of underwear. Spent half a year with ribs that couldn't tolerate the pressure of bras. Church demands extra layers when I can't regulate my temperature. Why is everyone so preoccupied with other people's clothes/ underwear?!
Are these like a mosaic with the gold in between to hold them together? Or does it all come a one piece marbled together like that?
(Sorry if my beside the buying points questions are distractions. I'm just curious about lots of things...)
Complete tangent, but maybe you can answer this question I've had for decades & haven't figured out how to properly Google to get the answer. I swear in high school a book I read used another word for amber that I understood to be common. But I can't remember or figure out what it was. Do you know?
This is without a doubt the most corrupt administration in the history of our country. They make little to no attempt at hiding it anymore!

Denial.
With a furious, burning passion.
It enables evil while the innocent suffer.
Is that his actual poster? It looks nice.
“Her [doctors] rec’ed surgery to remove the tumor, & the voices ‘told her that they were fully in agreement w/ that decision,’ according to the report….
As she regained consciousness after the operation, the voices relayed a final msg: ‘We are pleased to have helped you. Goodbye’."🧪
Thanks to Julia for her thoughtful piece on the end of SELF Magazine, with its longform, conversational articles about women's health. Here's why it's such a shame to see it go: 🧵
And from a research perspective, the more well-known a disease, the more it becomes a research priority. Grantors & government devote time, attention, and funding to it.
To SELF Magazine, thank you for caring about #MECFS and infection-associated chronic illness, and for your disability reporting!
I dreamed of traffic construction absurdities (and monsters), so I woke up grumpy (uncommon). I get ya.
Who decides to have construction running on 3 sides of 1 intersection all at the same time?!? And leave only a car wide strip of ground with giant deep holes on both sides under the stop lights?
Y'know, this whole thing could be over if someone would just tell Trump that Obama can hold his breath for fifteen minutes.
Anyone else here like to listen to world music?
Suggestions, please.
I like things with harmony, a capella (not required), less modern (not pop music). Also instrumental, intense & calm.
Some examples:
Adiemus
Moana
L🦁 K🤴 on Broadway
Ekaterina Shelahova
Eivør
Various Irish groups
Indian (like ⬇️)
Always fun to realize how little patience people actually have to listen and listen well. They'd just decide I'd been trying to say whatever they wanted to imagine and walked away. Constantly dispiriting.
Also government phone commands needing to be given verbally, no button cues given. 🤦♀️
I went about 2 years without a voice. The world is very different in that position!
I managed to read a book today.
Now my eyes are very angry at me.
I can't not keep trying to live, even when it keeps pushing me into crashes.
I feel like this should be the basis of a "This is why you need DEI" ad campaign.
