Fix my husband's coffee so it's ready when he wakes up.

Of course it tends to happen on weekends or days I can sleep in later than normal. And once I stir, my dog wakes up, which also starts his morning protocol - whining until I feed him and take him outside 😂

Most of the time the cage doesn't wake me up.

Sometimes, it's just enough to feel a comforting tightness and fall back asleep.

But occasional mornings like today, it flips a switch and says "No more sleep for you."
