Research poster for “The Journeys of Non-Affected Parents Within Families with Huntington’s Disease”

I am Elizabeth (Lizzie) Furr and l am a trainee clinical psychologist. I am looking for participants to tell their stories in a one-off hour-long interview and help answer the following question for my doctoral thesis:
How do individuals navigate the changes in demands and roles of parenting children and caring for their partner with Huntington's disease over time?

If you are a non-affected parent who:
• Has at least one child over the age of 16
• And a partner with HD who has been living at home with your children (while your children were under the age of
21) and experiencing physical and/or other symptoms of
HD impacting on daily life for 3 or more years
This can be retrospective e.g., your children or partner no longer live at home but there was a period of 3 years when they both did then you would be eligible to take part.
