Fantastic staff hike. Will definitely do it again!

Half term drive up, for a day with my mum and dad up in Lytham. Lunch at the Golf Club!
Loved a half term day with the boys. Captain America, then little budworth walk, then build a bed, then the social club for pool and darts. Best day!
Loved our Inset today with Sister Judith Russi. Our three partner primary staff all joined us to be inspired by Sister Judith on our purpose in Catholic Education and our mission for 2025 and the Year of Jubilee ‘Pilgrims of Hope’
48hours. North west Catholic leadership conference in Wigan, to Cheshire East Heads in beautiful Deganwy, to Faithless at the Warehouse Manchester. Loving life. ❤️
Delighted to be on the same programme as Raymond Friel and introduced by the amazing @aburrowes.bsky.social today, speaking to our Catholic senior leaders for the North West Diocese. It was a privilege and an honour.
Yes thank you @marymyatt.bsky.social I’ve got them ready to go. I was just testing the waters on here to see if there are any more gurus with advice. Your Huh is invaluable. Thank you 🤩
I’m doing a humanities review this week. Can anyone offer me some advice on current curriculum content/what to look for/questions to ask for Hist, geog, BS or Health &Social Care. (Apart from the ofsted curric reviews and the wonderful @marymyatt.bsky.social @johntomsett curriculum Huh. Thank you. 🙏

Thank you. That’s really helpful. Matt.
Thanks Matt. Our dept growth plans and whole school growth plans all mirror those statements too. Good idea to use these into conversational challenge and check.
Hello all. Has anyone got a current list of questions for curriculum areas that Ofsted might ask since the draw back from thorough deep dives? Thank you in advance. 🙏
My school has never had a formal T&L policy (has other docs), but I’m introducing one from Sept. It’s a couple of paragraphs and 10 bulletpoints. Hoping it will support incremental improvement, provide clarity and continue to support professional autonomy #EduSky
Good summary and link to original doc here: teacherhead.com/2018/10/03/i... Well worth a gander. It appeals to me as it also considers motivation. But another attempted meta-analysis in the vein of Rosenshine ultimately.

Hi Andy. Thank you for this. Can you add me to the Catholic ed please. Still learning how to navigate Bluesky but I am loving it. Thanks for helping to organise it. ❤️

There’s so many great bits in Exam Nation by @sammywright.bsky.social but one of the paragraphs I love most is this (pictured) and especially this line…
“Like all the ways in which schools are not simply factories, they are also homes”
Thank you #edusky

Jumping on the #teamRe summer church visit. Partied in Ibiza this summer but paused for a beautiful mass in San Antonio Town.
I've written an article for SecEd Magazine's annual ECT supplement on professional conduct for ECTs (pp. 4-5).
References TS Part 2, FBVs, social media, school ethos, knowing key policies, dress, punctuality etc. etc.
