Please do not use AI to review a scholarly manuscript. I absolutely do not care what Claude or whoever thinks about the rise of emu farming in Omaha 1850-1864. I asked you because I care what you think about it.

1/ Excited to share our preprint! 🥳

Degradation of aromatic compounds, including BTEX pollutants, requires highly endergonic aromatic ring reduction. Using #cryoEM and in situ #cryoET, we show how BCRII couples electron bifurcation modules in one giant redox machine

Great work Tomas!

Congrats! It's really good and inspiring work! Nice to see the additions of testing different supports and detergents for the kinase. I recently tried CTAB with my 58 kDa sample and didn't see any improvement neither.

Yes, definitely think Blush regularisation will help (especially in 3D classification). Going to try it and see.

Thanks Daniel! I have tried variations of it without much success in improving this map nor a previous map from data collected on a Glacios. I'm now screening detergents and hopefully I will find one that works for this sample. 🤞

Best 3D reconstruction so far from this Tundra dataset. Right shape with some hints of secondary structure. Data collected at a higher magnification will hopefully improve this. @nusbf.bsky.social #cryoEM

Many people worry that AI will make science more productive but also more conservative — pushing attention toward already well-studied areas. @yianyin.bsky.social Sukwoong, and I ask: can AI instead help expand the scientific frontier? www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...

I don't know how anyone else feels about this, but to me, sharing a screenshot of chatbot output to make a point of some kind is an excellent way to undermine any credibility that might otherwise be granted to you in the context of whatever you're trying to say.
