Shield recharge and icon done... outside of battle, a shield will recharge after a few seconds. You can also see the changing icon for the UI as well. Still gotta make it remain upright, regardless of ship orientation...

Encryption! it's not in game, but I'd like to stave off miners for at least a bit. I just miss games being enigmatic, and I want folks to be able to dig into mysteries of the game's story. It's ok to be left wondering if there's anything left hiding, too.

Say hello to the sketch designs for Bassurians! These little critters will be skittering around the galaxy, and are a pretty cheerful bunch, despite having drawn some short straws. The mech augment arms were Anne's idea, and I'm exited to work them into the lore!

Some work done on the conversation UI! I tossed together a shader for the background that I think is nice. I'm not 100% sure I'll end up using it in the game, but it came out well enough as an experiment. It's starting to look a lot more together, though!

And here's the nifty lock-on animation when you manage to zero in on your enemy for long enough for the computer to train missiles on them properly! Obviously there will be a cool sound to go along with this eventually as well...

Missiles coming together... Still need to finalize a bit of the system, but I'm able to assign prefabs arbitrarily to them now and the validators ensure that all items of this type have all required objects and animations...
