“I arrived to the CCU, nurses who provided the most caring and thoughtful care for me during my stay was nothing short of exemplary!!

My wife and I (and my dog Vinnie Bones - you may remember me showing pictures of my big blue staffy whilst I was there) cannot thank you enough.

In addition, I have to say that the standard of cleanliness in my room, and all the facilities which I visited during my stay, were excellent, to the extent that I was walking around my room and the adjacent corridor in bare feet, and when my wife told me to put some shoes or slippers on, she and I could not believe that my feet were as clean as when I had stepped out of the shower!

In summary, I have to say that everyone from the hospital staff that I came into contact with were nothing short of amazing! Thanks you all.”

“I just wanted to say thank you for the care I received when I attended on Saturday 21 March.

I was seen by an Advanced Nurse Practitioner called Cosmin, who was excellent. He was really professional, explained everything clearly, and made me feel completely at ease.

I felt confident in what he was saying and the plan going forward, which I really appreciated. He was working with an Emergency Care Assistant whose name I didn’t catch – sorry- but she was also great.

She was really kind and reassuring, and kindly offered to show me the way to X-ray as I didn’t know where I was going, which I really appreciated.

The radiographer in X-ray was also brilliant and made me feel at ease during the scan.

I know how busy things are, so I just wanted to pass on my thanks to everyone involved. They’re a credit to the team."

“I was referred to the N&N following the discovery of a breast lump, which resulted in me undergoing a mastectomy yesterday on the DPU.

This was obviously a very difficult time for me, and I was understandably very anxious.

However, each and every staff member I encountered was kind, warm and reassuring, and all performed their duties admirably.

As a Trust you should be proud of them all.

The NHS is a resource to be cherished and I am thankful to you all for my prompt and efficient treatment.”
