October in review.
From the HIN Polypharmacy Symposium, to HDR UK, the Youth AI Summit, and the LCR AI Summit - it's been a month of rich conversations, shared learning and future-shaping ideas.
Grateful for every voice that's helping shape inclusive, ethical innovation in health. #PPIE #AIForGood
Grateful to everyone who took part. Yesterday reinforced the value of involving young people now just as future users, but as co-designers of responsible AI. Their voices will shape how DynAIRx evolves. #YouthAI #HealthData #PPIE
Glossary co-creation in action. We invited young people to suggest terms and definitions for our Data and AI glossary. Their contributions were clear, creative, and inclusive - helping us to build a resource that's genuinely accessible.
Social media as a data source? We asked whether platforms like Reddit or Instagram could help surface side effect signals. The group debated privacy, consent, and credibility - reminding us that technical innovation must be matched with ethical clarity.
Can AI help predict medication harm? Young participants shared their views on how data could be used to flag risks earlier - raising qustions about fairness, transparency, and trust. Their reflections will help shape how DynAIRx communicates risk and value.
Last week, we attended the @civicdatacoop.bsky.social Youth AI Summit, where 14-18 year olds came to explore how artificial intelligence is shaping society. Their perspectives were sharp, curious, and refreshingly grounded in real world experience. Here's what we covered...
Taking it forward. I'm back with new ideas, renewed focus, and a few action points for out team. Thanks to everyone who shared, challenged, and inspired. Let's keep the momentum going. #HDRUK #HealthData
Collaboration was everywhere. From public involvement to cross-institutional partnerships, the emphasis on co-creation and shared learning was clear. It was great to hear how others are navigating similar challenges - and to contribute our own reflections.
AI in healthcare is gaining momentum - but thoughtful implementation is key. Discussions around real world data and ethical deployment reaffirmed the importance of context-aware, inclusive design. DynAIRx felt timely and well-received.
Back from last week's energising few days at #HDRUK - grateful for the chance to connect with colleagues across the sector and share insights from the DynAIRx project. Here's a quick reflection on what stood out. @civicdatacoop.bsky.social
