A new cable has appeared!
The Commodore Amiga (DB-23) to SCART cable features our signature Mini-Coax cable, with a stereo audio 2-RCA breakout. This cable uses a true DB-23 connector, not a trimmed DB-25.

I’m surprised that doesn’t trigger you lol. Plus there’s an open source hotel clone called open flops that doesn’t have a shell
When are you gonna make a basic gotek shell with OLED screen slot and knob? I tried making one a year or two ago but it turned out bad

When I said #PicoGUS wasn’t being left behind, I wasnt joking! This is a regular ol’ PicoGUS being a Sound Blaster 16, detected and working in Windows 98:
Just because I’m deep in getting #PicoIDE into production doesn’t mean that #PicoGUS is standing still. Delphius and wbcbz7 are in the middle of implementing some pretty awesome things (and on the original RP2040 hardware)! Keep your eyes peeled 👀
Trying something new - Dev logs.
I wrote about the current state of #BLEShift 3D, plus NES BT and SNES BT development after a long pause.
I hope to keep up with this as projects move forward!

The PicoIDE Crowd Supply campaign is now live! Back the project to be among the first to get yours! PicoIDE is an open IDE/ATAPI drive emulator for retro systems. www.crowdsupply.com/polpotronics...
@polpo.org joins us this week to talk optical media fragility, "cursed IDE controllers," & more, as ATAPI CD-ROM / IDE fixed hard drive replacement PicoIDE is ready for production.
The campaign launches today, see picoide.com for details, and watch this Saturday on This Week in Retro episode 253!
Gooners will see this and say "Hell Yea"
The weirdest game boy that has ever existed
My take on a Neo Geo OMVS console case.
A screen showing Windows 98 running the Nero CD/DVD speed benchmark. Average read speed is 74.30x
A screen showing the Speedsys benchmark, showing 15626 KB/s linear read speed
Finishing things up for #PicoIDE and it just about saturates the IDE bus in MWDMA mode 2. I’m pretty happy with this! It tests as fast as a 74x CD-rom drive which means there’s a bit more headroom in that mode but that could be the CPU on this K6-2 system being a bottleneck.
OpenTendo-Twin, an open source recreation of the Sharp Twin Famicom (A Famicom with a Famicom Disk System built in) is in the final stages before release.
The highlighted nets are all that are left, testing and then release should happen quite soon.
