I wish people understood you don’t have to be physically ill to be unwell. I approached my manager today and told her I wasn’t feeling good and she asked me to step away if I was sick. I’m like no it’s my bipolar. I crave a world where that explanation is enough. #bipolarawareness

lol. Rewriting is just the process of writing. I’m on my 3rd draft. And finally scrapped the prologue after 40 attempts to make it perfect.

Loving my new job! The culture is actually really good in the little team, which I was shocked at. I normally have issues fitting in with people because ADHD and bipolar disorder but they welcomed me and I’m so happy!

Yeah I have ADHD and bipolar. It’s the first time in a while I’ve been able to actually build habits.

#finch has helped me feel more in control of my life. I’m completing more goals. It’s motivating me to take care of myself and I’m feeling better throughout the day. For those of you on the fence about trying it, go for the free version. Like a tamagotchi you take care of by caring for yourself.

100% writing saved me more times than I can count. I use it to channel my inner thoughts, feelings, and coping with life. It's a beautiful escape.

I’ve been manic depressive today and it has really fucked with my productivity at work. Still, I fight through it. I show up for myself when I can. I do self-care when it’s needed. I write with the intention of showing the world what bipolar looks like. What it feels like. I will see representation.

Someone told me last night as I was reading aloud a chapter of my WIP that they never much liked werewolf and vampire books currently in circulation but that they were invested in mine and would read anything I wrote moving forward and buy it. My heart soared. I can’t wait to publish! #writing
