6 months is okay I think - I'm currently half way through a 2-term sabbatical & have shed most teaching/admin okay. I could have waited to apply for a year, but the application process is now frozen & I think will probably never come back in the old format. So I think I'm on team Take It Now!

@riadsala.bsky.social and I have pondered how causal reasoning could be incorporated to the UG curriculum. Also, I feel like there can be a tension between giving students experience of designing/running research without implicitly training them that small n/low power doesn't matter.
