SDCC 2026 Hotel Sale – New and Smooth by Transmute Jun When Comic Con International (CCI) announced that the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) hotel reservation process would be changing for the 2026 event (to be held July 23-26), attendees were anxious. CCI has not had a good history with new tech rollouts, and anything unknown is scary when it comes to SDCC. Yet on the morning of April 15, everyone was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly the system worked.

WonderCon 2026 – A Smaller Experience by Transmute Jun WonderCon has had a number of big changes throughout its history, including moving amongst multiple cities, yet the impact of the COVID shutdowns was by far the most significant. The event never really recovered from missing two years, and has been evolving into a more intimate experience ever since. This year’s event (held March 27-29) seemed to occupy less of the Anaheim Convention Center than it ever had, with large portions of the Exhibit Floor feeling very empty.
