A Regency era fashion plate of a woman with one leg extended, toe pointed against the floor, and her arms in s flamboyant dance pose as she smiles over her shoulder. It is captioned, "Claire's tendu was always on point."
Tendu is a movement in ballet that involves smoothly sliding one foot along the floor while keeping it fully stretched until only the tip of the toe remains touching. I did a million and one of them as a kid in Doria Avila's ballet classes. Man loved his fundamentals.
A Victorian or Regency portrait of a woman holding a flower and surrounded by very large boulders. It is captioned, "A charcuterie board is a Lunchable that majored in musical theatre."

Sigh. Some day. ๐ญ
The first page of the Peacock edition, featuring the title and a huge, page-long pen and ink illustration off a peacock with a long flowing tail running down along the block of text.
Seriously, LOOK AT IT
Sorry, available from www.instagram.com/goldberryath...
The coveted "Peacock edition" of Pride and Prejudice, featuring illustrations by Hugh Thompson. Available from https://www.instagram.com/goldberryathome
Much sought-after and coveted "Peacock edition" of Pride and Prejudice. Such a gorgeous book. One day I hope to own one.
A stylized cover art for the book titled "Beyond the Mark: Ashes of the Hero," featuring a silhouette of a cloaked figure in a dark, magical forest. The figure, shrouded in shadow, is holding a glowing sword with a vibrant red hue. Intricate patterns adorn the figure's cloak, evoking a sense of mystery and fantasy. The background showcases an eerie forest with bare, twisted trees and ethereal lights, creating a mystical and foreboding atmosphere. In the distance, a castle with spires looms against a pale, glowing sky, adding a sense of adventure and danger to the scene. The title is prominently displayed at the top in bold, stylized lettering, with a vivid gradient effect that contrasts with the darker tones of the artwork. The overall composition conveys themes of heroism, darkness, and a journey into the unknown.
UPDATE! ๐น๐
I realize not many people have access to much right now, so I put the eBook version of Beyond The Mark down to the lowest I could on Amazon, which is $0.99
Hope this helps it become more accessible, I'd rather continue the story than make money, so I hope you enjoy!

An antique handpainted demitasse porcelain cup and saucer. It is trimmed in gold at the edges and painted with tiny blue flowers. It's beautiful. Wealthy and upper middle class / upperclass ladies used to handpaint entire sets of China in the 1920's. It was a status symbol and showed off one's painting abilities. I'm sure it was also meant to highlight that they were ladies of leisure and did not have to work or do housework.
Absolutely charming and beautiful handpainted demitasse. Vintage or antique. Available now from Carla's personal collection @carlasclutteredcottage.

A painting of a Regency era woman in a pink satin gown. She is sitting at a small table with a quill in her right hand and papers under her left elbow, which is resting on the table. Her index finger is pressed over her eyebrow as she listens to someone speaking. She looks politely disinterested, as if waiting for them to go away. One can practically hear the out of frame speaker's, "Well actually..."
Not that I am familiar with that at all. I am always absolutely riveted by whatever it is you are saying to me. Honest!
