Watched Superman (2025) for the first time, and I loved every minute of it. Bright, colourful and, most importantly, fun from start to finish.
Unapologetic in its positive vibes and message, this comic book movie felt like a real breath of fresh air after years of gritty, dark adaptations.
He definitley sold the hopelessness of the situation, that's for sure. But he was probably thinking about his career when uttering that line, poor sod.
He did his best.

#AEWDynasty was a fun watch; great action coupled with surprises like the finish to Jericho/Ricochet, Kevin Knight winning the TNT Title, the World Trios Titles changing hands again already, and Ospreay/Mox, on top of a gripping main event about Good vs. Evil.

Every new piece of MK2 related media just keeps getting better. This looks and feels like Mortal Kombat more than the first movie did. Can't wait for it.
I feel Jericho is trying to send a message to the naysayers with this match against Ricochet who say he can no longer go in the ring. He definitely can, and he'll prove it this Sunday.

NJPW gave Newman the ball, and at only 23yrs has ran with that ball, proving he can be relied upon as their next big gaijin star, filling that Finlay shaped hole.
With Shingo as his next opponent, and a future match teased with Ospreay, Newman is gonna have a very HOT 2026. (End)
His win reminds me a lot of Jay White's 1st reign as Heavyweight Champ; brash, young newcomer taking the title way earlier than originally thought. At first I hated it, but over time I saw it for the character building development it really was, and I feel the same could happen with Newman. (2)
So, Callum Newman is IWGP Heavyweight Champion, the youngest in company history.
I don't hate it, and I think he's a strong talent both in the ring and on the mic, and originally I thought the win was too early for him, but I think that's the point. (1)

I'll admit, AEW grown past the need for Jericho (his long absence proves this), but I'll be damned if it isn't good to see the Demo-God back and still All-Elite.
That said, his band goes back on tour in May, so I don't see him back in an AEW ring in time for Dynasty; maybe Double Or Nothing.

It does look like they're pushing for a Nintendoverse with this reveal. I know we got Donky Kong in the first movie but he's had history with Mario, whereas Mario and Fox have never interacted outside of Smash, which makes this a bigger deal.
