Israel's extraordinary defence of its homeland offers vital lessons for Britain. As Germany and Finland have already recognised, Israel has a tested ability to defend its people from aerial threats.
Iran has directly targeted UK interests in the region, including a drone strike on RAF Akrotiri and a ballistic missile attack on the joint UK-US base at Diego Garcia.
Britain's aerial defences must keep pace with this threat.
Air Vice-Marshal Lester warns:
"There is a strong case for ensuring that collaboration in critical areas such as air defence, intelligence and capability development is not unduly constrained."

LFI strongly opposes the announcement by Smotrich regarding the E1 proposals in the West Bank.
